The Royal Mameluke is the Egyptian unique Ranged Cavalry of the Enlightenment Age that replaces the Carabineer.

Overview

Compared to Carabineers, Royal Mamelukes are statistically identical, but they do +50% damage against Ranged Cavalry, so their innate ability as raiders combined with this advantage makes the Royal Mameluke a great defensive unit, peerless in counter-raiding and the bane of all other Ranged Cavalry users. This damage bonus also applies to all Ranged Cavalry, including Armored Cars and beyond, and even Mahouts!
