Trivia[]
- Note that the in-game Kremlin doesn't look like the actual Kremlin, but instead is a model of the St. Basil's Cathedral. This is probably because aesthetics-wise, St Basil's Cathedral tends to be the most recognizable landmark in the vicinity of the Kremlin of Moscow.
- The same mistake of making Kremlin look like Saint Basil's Cathedral was made in Civilization IV and, though to a lesser degree, in Civilization V as well, both released subsequently.[1]
- The Kremlin is one of the four wonders that produces units and can create a Rally Point; the others are the Terra Cotta Army, the Forbidden City, and the Red Fort.
- Despite so, it is one of the two wonders among the aforementioned four that units cannot garrison within, the other being the Terra Cotta Army.
- The Soviets begin with the Kremlin in the Cold War Campaign.
