King's Yeomanry are the British unique Foot Archer of the Gunpowder Age, available to upgrade from King's Longbowmen (unlike most nations which retains the Crossbowmen/Heavy Archers until they are succeeded by Musketeers in the Enlightenment Age).
Overview[]
After King's Longbowmen become King's Yeomanry, they gain +21 hit points +2 attack strength and +1 line of sight.
As with their predecessors, King's Yeomanry are not only cheaper than Crossbowmen, but also the unit with the longest range of the age, which allows them to keep out of their enemies' reach for longer and more effectively, even more so by their ability to sustain more damage.
King's Yeomanry do -5% damage against all units except Heavy Infantry, against which they do +23.5%[note 1] damage.

- ↑ King's Yeomanry actually has a 30% damage bonus against Heavy Infantry, but they also have a 5% damage penalty against all units. This effectively means that King's Yeomanry has a 23.5% damage bonus against Heavy Infantry.
