Heavy Ships are a line of ships produced at the Dock, Anchorage, and Shipyard. They are the most heavily armored and slow-moving of the military ships produced at the Dock. All of them feature a ranged attack.
All Heavy Ships are strong against Light Ships and Bombardment Ships, but weak against Fire Ships They can function as shore bombardment ships in a pinch as well.

Unit costs[]
Heavy Ships' production cost increases progressively with every Dock/Anchorage/Shipyard unit on the field or currently in production. The default increase is of 2 Metal for the second unit created, increasing further with every new unit until the cost cap is reached, which for military units is +125% of their original base value.

- The British Power of Empire: All ships, including Heavy Ships, are created 33% faster.
- The Dutch Power of Commerce: Ship upgrades, including Heavy Ships, are 10% cheaper.
- The Japanese Power of Honor: All ships, including Heavy Ships, are 10% cheaper.
- The Spanish Power of Discovery: Receive a free Heavy Ship whenever a Dock is built.
Wonders[]
- The Porcelain Tower makes all ships, including Heavy Ships, created 50% faster.
- The Angkor Wat reduces the cost of all Dock units, including Heavy Ships, by 25%.
