The European style is one of the possible visual styles for units in Rise of Nations, and arguably, the most commonly seen, as it is used by 11 out of the 24 playable nations, far more than any other. As with all other styles, the differences are purely cosmetic.
Trivia[]
- The vast majority of icons for standard units are based on their European style look, or are closer to it.
- Some units (Marked in the gallery below with an asterisk*) share the same appearance with their counterparts of other styles. By far the most noticeable is the American style with which it shares a few units, becoming specially noticeable from the Industrial Age onward. It also shares the Light Cavalry and Heavy Horse Archer model with the Arab style, as well as the Elite Light Cavalry model with both the Arab and East Indian styles.
- As with all other styles (minus most Asian style sailing ships), ship models are shared between styles.
