Bushi are the Japanese unique Heavy Infantry of the Classical Age that replaces the standard Phalanx.
Overview[]
Compared to Phalanx, Bushi have +5 hit points, +1 attack strength, +1 armor, +3 turn speed (meaning they can maneuver faster), and an attack speed of 30 frames.
Being stronger and tougher means that Bushi can survive longer against cities, towers, and enemy units, and also hit them harder, making them better for besieging, rushing and overall offense.
Trivia[]
- Bushi (武士), meaning "warrior", is a common term in Japanese for what is better known in English as Samurai, the elite warrior class of feudal Japan since the 12th century CE.
