The Asian style is one of the possible visual styles for units in Rise of Nations, used by the nations of East Asia. As with all other styles, the differences are purely cosmetic.
Trivia[]
- The design of Asian units appears to be a strange mix of Chinese and Japanese styles. "Japanese" units include units such as the Hoplite, Elite Light Cavalry, and Arquebusier, while China, Mongolia and Japan get different skins for the Modern Age Tank.
- The Spy of this style used to have an Industrial Age skin like all the others, but it was scrapped in the expansion and Extended Edition due to its poor visibility.
- The Asian style has specific models for most of its sailing ships, in stark contrast to all other styles.
